Gerry van Tonder says...
The pilot in the left seat is Russell Kilner, with whom I had the privilege of flying on many occasions in Urungwe and Sipolilo - a great guy. If I am not mistaken, man in the seat next to Russell is DC Mt Darwin, Peter Williams

I am an Australian who had the pleasure of working with Russell Kilner in southern Africa in 1994 ... I have since lost contact with him and would very much like to reconnect - if at all possible. If anyone was able to put me inot contact with him, or his family I would be grateful. djr

Another great character, brave but fool-hardy at times.I must have racked up heaps of flying hours with this fellow, I reckon in today's money I would have thousands of frequent flyer points.I remembered after my first R&R, never to reveal how I felt after a hard weeks intake of liquor. He made sure I never drank again after several minutes of aerobatics. I didn't know whether I was right-side up or upside down. The fellow next to him is defintely not Peter Williams, who may have been DC much later after this photo was taken. Jim Latham was still DC until I finished my stint with Intaf months after.
